THE PURSUIT OF TASTE,

BEAUTY, AND SUBTLETY

GRAP stands at the crossroads of the art of viticulture and coffee roasting.

It was born from the encounter between Célia Roussin, a committed entrepreneur passionate about the wine world, and Nahabi Velarde, a coffee roaster raised among coffee plantations in Mexico.

By roasting grape seeds, GRAP creates a unique taste experience, at the intersection of gastronomy and lifestyle, reinventing taste and valuing the fruit in its entirety.

TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF,

OTHERS, AND THE WORLD

GRAP embodies a new approach to French (viti)culture, combining gastronomic pleasure and commitment.

GRAP appreciates both the long-term and attention to detail.

A worldview based on care for others and for taste, on emotions and their subtle expressions.

A company committed to supporting its partner French terroirs. And capable of offering a direct source of complementary income to organic winegrowers.

An innovation capable of directly contributing to the agri-food transition.

GRAP is currently undergoing organic Ecocert and BCorp certification.

EVERY BEAN TELLS A STORY

Every tasting tells a story. The story of GRAP begins with grapes grown biodynamically and vinified by Thierry and Isabelle Daulhiac, at Château Le Payral,
in the Southwest of France. For over twenty years (and seven generations in his family) the vines have been cultivated organically, then biodynamically.

The goal of the soil work is singular: to obtain the best fruit and give it the best possible value.
This is where the idea originated, shared one day by Thierry Daulhiac with Célia Roussin:
What if the grape seed could offer a second life to the grape, after the wine, by being roasted?

The seed was sown. The next day, testing began. And after the first tasting, the project was born with the desire to work together.

TERROIR COLLABORATION

Château le Payral is a family winery located in the heart of the Périgord vineyard. The history of the estate is closely linked to that of Thierry Daulhiac, a young boy, the son of a farmer, who only imagined himself as a farmer. Passionate about soil and agronomy, Thierry has constantly developed respectful practices to best express the grapes and their terroir. His wines, from his "Traditional" cuvées to his "natural" sulfite-free expressions, are distributed in France and worldwide. Convinced that organic grapes could be fully utilized, he has been working on valorization projects for over 15 years, including a partnership with Zeta sneakers.

"As a farmer and winemaker, I work with respect for the Earth and Nature, to offer the best."
